Redirect type that completes payment on an external screen
Link type Plus
Since the purchaser will be redirected to our payment screen during the payment procedure, merchants can achieve a secure payment (non-retention of card information*) without touching sensitive information such as card numbers. In addition, the settings are completed on the PG Multi-Payment Service management screen, and the automatic screen adjustment function according to the purchaser's device can be implemented in a simpler and easier to read management screen than conventional link types. Our link type Plus falls under "redirect type" among the examples of non-retention introduction at EC merchants specified in the Credit Card Security Guidelines.
* Non-retention of card information means that the consumer's credit card information (cardholder name, card number, expiration date, etc.) is not stored, processed, or passed through the device or network owned by the member store.
Compatible with various payment method such as Credit card payment, CVS Payment, carrier payment, and QR code payment. * Scheduled to be added sequentially

In May 2024, GMO Payment Gateway will add a new original design function to "Link Type Plus," which allows e-commerce businesses to easily set up payment screens without specialized programming knowledge. E-commerce businesses will be able to implement payment screens with a design that suits their site intuitively and easily with no code. In this article, we will interview two people who were involved in the actual development, a system engineer and a UI/UX designer, to get a behind-the-scenes look at the development that made the new feature a reality.
